Walking Dead – Season 2, Episode 4
The episode, starts off on a bit of a downer since it starts at the memorial service that the Green farm held for Otis. Fate has it that Shane has to speak for Otis and delivers a speech that Rick and Lori seemed to have a hard time swallowing about the last minutes of Otis’ life.
From there, Glenn ends up having to go into a well to try to hook a walker up so they can pull the thing out of the well before it contaminates the water. They fail to keep the walker in one piece and Glenn almost gets bit by the walker.
I think Glenn ends up with the upper hand in this episode though. He accompanies Maggie into town and boom shicka wow wow Glenn and Maggie get it on. Maggie said it was a one time deal, but I think Glenn may be getting some additional alone time with Maggie.
On the downside, Hershel tells Rick that as soon as Carl can travel, Hershel expects Rick and his crew to skidaddle, leave the farm and go along their merry way. Hershel simply says that they don’t “take in strangers” and that’s all the explanation that Rick needs to agree to leave.
Somehow, I don’t see Andrea going along with that decision.
Still no Sophia, but Daryl did find an abandoned house where it appears that someone was recently hiding out in. It appears that Sophia may yet turn up.
Before I forget, this episode was called “Cherokee Rose.” Daryl finds one near the abandoned house, gives it to Carol and tells her the legend of the Cherokee rose. I thought it was very sweet of Daryl.
One last thing, in the previews for the next episode, we see Merle! Looks like Merle will rejoin the gang and complicate things for the gang. Specially for T-Dawg.
