The Walking Dead 513: Forget
We open The Walking Dead on Sasha, tossing and turning and not able to sleep. Next we see her, she’s checking out her gun and walking out of the compound. Apparently, she’s going to do some target practice shooting the pictures that were in her room.
She takes a shot, and looks around.
Takes another shot and looks around…
And another, and another, still looking around after each shot.
It’s like she trying to summon walkers to her.
We cut away, and we run into Rick, Carol and Daryl. They are having a meeting out by the shed where Rick left a gun. They’re stratigizing about something or another. They talk about something that is coming and how lucky the people in Alexandria are.
While they’re talking, a walker comes towards them from outside view. This walker has a W on his forehead.
The three of them decide that they want the others to try to make this their home.
Deanna wants to try to have a community at Alexandria. Deanna wants a police force and a government and other things. She wants to regrow the world starting from Alexandria.
Rick is telling Deanna that they need constant perimeter walks and when Sasha volunteers to man the lookout station in the clock tower, Deanna says that there is no look out in the clock tower. Rick, Michonne and Sasha immediately are surprised by this.
They are basically sitting ducks without a lookout in the tower. Deanna deflects the conversation and instead tells them that she is having a party to welcome the group to Alexandria.
Outside the wall, Daryl and Aaron are about to rope up a horse when a bunch of walkers come at them. They fight off the walkers, but the walkers spook the horse.
Carol is good at playing the helpless victim. So good that she distracts people long enough to unlock a window to the armory.
The gang shows up to the party. Deanna is all about the baby. Abraham and Rosita walk in. Abraham says he’s not sure about the party, Rosita says they’ve got beer, so Abraham says “I’ll give it a shot.”
The party is going on, and Daryl and Aaron are still outside chasing after that horse. Long story short, walkers end up catching the horse and these super walkers start to eat it while it tries to fight the walkers off.
The running theme of this episode, is that people are more dangerous than the walkers are.
Back at the party, Noah is off in a corner and Maggie and Glenn try to bring him out of his shell. It’s dark now.
Daryl and Aaron are back inside the walls. Aaron is trying to befriend Daryl, but Daryl is resisting. At least he resisted until Aaron asked him to help him recruit and offered him a motorcycle to ride on his travels beyond the wall.
At the party, Jessie’s kid stamps Rick on his hand and suddenly Rick seems to get the whole walkers with a W thing.
Still at the party, Abraham and Michonne have a heart to heart. Abraham seems content, which makes me think that he’s about to die.
Carol is away at the armory, stealing some guns when she gets caught by a little kid. Sam thought the she was going to make some more cookies. Carol tries to make a deal with Sam (the kid). She says she’ll make him a batch of cookies but he can’t tell anyone about what he saw. She threatens to take him outside the wall so he’ll get eaten by walkers unless he keeps quiet.
Jessie comes around and hands Judith back to Rick, and Rick kisses her. Jessie just smiles and walks away.
Sasha is freaking out about being in the room with all these people talking. Seems like she has a panic attack picturing what happens outside the wall. Someone walks up to her ans asks Sasha what her favorite dish is, and Sasha freaks dafuggout. The lady says that she’s worried about picking the wrong meal for Sasha and Sasha just busts out screaming “that’s what you’re worried about!”
The next day, Michonne puts her katana on the wall as decoration. Daryl says that he is going to try to make an effort at assimilating. Daryl declines to take an extra gun for himself. Rick takes one, and so does Carol.
