The Walking Dead 413 – Alone
The Walking Dead Episode 413 opens with a lone guy, walking through the woods. It’s more of a shuffle than a walk. He’s hiding behind trees, and avoiding walkers. Eventually, he comes up to what appears to be an open mine, and barricades himself inside.
He’s drinking NyQuil and passes out as some walker is trying to reach at him through his barricade.
In what appears to be the next day, we see him climbing on top of an 18 wheeler trailer. He’s laying flat on top of it as a herd of walkers goes past. Eventually, he climbs down.
Turns out, the lone man is Bob.
Darryl and Glenn come up the road. It’s a flashback scene, and this is how Bob comes to the camp.
Darryl and Glenn asked Bob the 3 questions. Darryl asks Bob if he has any questions for them, and he
says no, because it doesn’t matter who they are.
After the commercials, we come to the scene in the fog from the previews.
Maggie, Bob and Sasha are in a circle, defending themselves from walkers as the walkers come through the fog. Bob ends up getting bit by one of them, but the walker doesn’t break the skin.
After the scuffle, Sasha says they have 6 bullets left. They decide to wait for the fog to clear before moving out.
We cut to Beth and Darryl. Darryl is teaching Beth how to track. The teaching appears to be going well, but Beth steps on a booby trap and hurts her ankle.
They come up to a clearing, and it opens up to a cemetery with a funeral home or mortuary of some kind. Beth has a moment, and holds Darryl’s hand as they stand in front of a tomb that says “Beloved Father.” Eventually, they get up to the mortuary, and the place is immaculate.
They walk around the place for a bit. They find a couple of bodies that have been tended to. Beth says that whoever tended to the bodies cared about them and remembered that they were people before everything went to hell.
Back with Sasha, Bob and Maggie. Sasha is making a point that they should follow the tracks to the first town, find a building and hole up in there.
Back to Beth and Darryl. They find some supplies that appear to be freshly laid up. No dust, no nothing on them. Darryl determines that this must be someone’s stash and that he and Beth should not take all of it.
Beth and Darryl spend the night at the house. Darryl sleeps in a coffin, and Beth sings him to sleep.
In the morning, we’re with Sasha and Bob. Maggie has left them while they were sleeping. Maggie left a note that says “Don’t risk your life 4 me” but Bob decides that they can still catch up to her, provided she’s following the tracks.
We cut to Maggie, and she’s killed a walker, gutted it and was about to write something on a railroad crossing box.
After the commercial break, we come to Sasha and Bob. They come up to the box where Maggie wrote “Glenn go to Terminus, Maggie.”
Back to Beth and Darryl, they’re going up to have breakfast when they hear something coming up to the front door. It was a one-eyed dog. the dog runs away when Darryl tried to pet it.
It’s night-time again, and we’re back with Sasha and Bob. They’re trying to sleep, but they can’t because of the noises of the night. Bob, asks Sasha, why she thinks that Tyrese is dead.
Why these people don’t get walker camouflage, Michonne style is beyond me.
Meanwhile, back at the funeral home, Darryl and Beth are having some dinner. The cans go off again, and Darryl thinks that it’s the dog again. He just opens the front door without thinking and it turns out there is a wall of walkers there. The walkers come inside the house. Darryl tells Beth to get out, while he kills all the walkers.
Eventually, Darryl makes it out, and comes up to a clearing. Beth’s purse is on the ground. Darryl’s attention goes to the right where a car speeds off into the night. At this point, we don’t know if Beth was taken, or if she hot wired the car and took off in the car. Darryl goes off running after the car.
After the commercial, we see Darryl is still running. He collapses at a railroad intersection.
Bob and Sasha come up to a town. They split up. Sasha goes up into a building and sees Maggie laying down. Sasha and Maggie kill a few walkers, and decide to go get Bob.
Darryl is still sitting when some people come up to him. He punches one of them, the one that appears to be the leader. After some posturing, they ask Darryl to join their group. He does.
Sasha and Maggie catch up to Bob. The three of them take off down the railroad tracks.
The episode ends with Glenn coming up to a map pointing to terminus. Beth is still unaccounted for.
